Congratulations to our students! On July 15, Methodist Home for Children celebrated new graduates and students in the Hackley Education and Learning Program. Known as HELP, the program provides financial support and mentoring to qualified students who’ve been through foster care, adoption and residential services. | Read more about HELP.

HELP08 Vnette Boney, Mt. Olive University, is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration and healthcare management.
Jay Brock Jeremiah Brock, Johnston Community College, is pursuing an associate degree in heavy equipment and transport technology.
DeCarlo Buie DeCarlo Buie, Oakwood University, Huntsville, Ala., is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in theology, piano performance and music composition.
HELP06 Shevonna Corprew, North Carolina Central University, has been accepted into the Honors Program. She hopes to become a Supreme Court justice.
Sarah Daniels Sarah Daniels, Campbell University, is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in elementary education with a middle grades extension in math. She plans to be an elementary school teacher.
Nicholas Horn Nicholas Horn, Richard Bland College in Petersburg, Va., is pursuing an associate degree in biology with plans to transfer to Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. He plans to be a dentist.
HELP02 Elizabeth Kelly, William Peace University, earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration in May 2016.
HELP01 Anthony McCoy, Craven Community College, is enrolling in trade courses. He is interested in biomedical engineering, graphic design and medicine.
HELP10 Shawn Moore, N.C. State University, is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering. He wants to design and manufacture prosthetic limbs.
Denise Boney Denise Boney Rhodie, Liberty University, is pursuing her Master of Public Health. She graduated from Campbell University in December 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in healthcare management.
HELP07 Tyanna Robertson, East Carolina University, is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education.
HELP09 Tyshawn Robertson, North Carolina Central University, is pursing degrees in engineering and business management.
