The five-star Jordan Child & Family Enrichment Center is the centerpiece of Methodist Home for Children’s early childhood education program—a place of powerful learning opportunities for children, ages 6 weeks to 5 years old.
At the Jordan Center, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to maximize his or her potential. In order to accomplish that, we provide an environment where children feel comfortable and safe while they are engaged and challenged to learn. We believe that all children benefit from interactions with one another in an environment that promotes acceptance of individual differences in backgrounds and ability levels.
Children of diverse backgrounds and abilities are blended together in Jordan Center classrooms that teach self-discipline, problem-solving and empathy. New experiences teach preschoolers how to handle change. New friends teach them to value differences. Throughout each day, children have opportunities to listen and talk, explore or explain, play in groups or alone, be loud or be quiet—and all of it happens in a place where they are safe and encouraged to do more.
